Description

Designed in accordance with European standard EN12527 and national standards GB/T-14688 and GB/T-14687, the system uses an electric cylinder to simulate the load and a servo motor and ball screw to drive the casters to move horizontally, enabling the "caster rotation performance test" and "caster steering performance test".

Testing items:

1) Caster rotation resistance coefficient: The real-time force in the same direction of rotation and the vertical gravitational force of the caster are detected to calculate the rotation resistance coefficient.

Calculation formula: u1 = F1 / W

Where:

u1 - rotation resistance coefficient;

F1 - rotational resistance force of the caster or wheel, in Newton (N);

W - rated load of the caster or wheel, in Newton (N).

2) Caster steering resistance coefficient: The real-time force in the opposite direction of steering and the vertical gravitational force of the caster are detected to calculate the steering resistance coefficient.

Calculation formula: u2 = F2 / W

Where:

u2 - steering resistance coefficient;

F2 - steering resistance force of the caster or wheel, in Newton (N);

W - rated load of the caster or wheel, in Newton (N).

3) Caster life test: The running speed, stroke, and cycle times can be set to conduct a life test.
