Description

The Longmen automatic measuring instrument is a large-scale CNC type image measuring instrument, which can achieve efficient and accurate measurement of large quantities of workpieces; it is suitable for the inspection and quality control of precision parts. It has been widely applied in the machinery, electronics, hardware, plastic and other industries.

Product Features:

1:This product is suitable for measuring the dimensions of various large workpieces. During measurement, the workpiece remains stationary while the gantry moves. The base, crossbeam, and support beam are all made of high-precision, high-stability grade 00 granite, which does not rust, corrode, or deform, ensuring the instrument's accuracy remains permanently stable and precise. The stable and solid structural design guarantees the equipment's extremely high stability and rigidity requirements.

2:The XYZ three axes are all equipped with imported P-level precision linear guides and precision ground lead screws, ensuring the high accuracy and stability of the motion system.

3:A full closed-loop dedicated motion control system is used for ultra-precise fully automatic measurement. All three axes are driven by Japanese Panasonic servo motors (optional four-axis or five-axis control: XYZ + automatic magnification change + light source lifting).

4:The parallel LED contour light and four-ring eight-zone surface light are both programmable light sources, fully automatically achieving 256-level brightness adjustment (optional five-ring eight-zone forty-phase surface light source).

5:A 3.2-megapixel high-definition HIK gigabit network digital camera is adopted, easily meeting the requirements of high-definition observation and precise measurement.

6:This machine has multiple ways to drive the machine: computer mouse, keyboard, software control, image area dragging, control handle, etc., which is convenient, fast, and highly practical.

Classification and selection basis of gantry structure:


The core of gantry structure design lies in separating the measurement movement system from the workpiece under test, thereby avoiding the inertial error and positioning difficulty caused by the movement of the workpiece. According to the configuration of the moving parts, gantry-type image measuring instruments are mainly divided into the following three common types.

1. Fixed gantry and moving worktable type
In this structure, the worktable carries the workpiece and moves in the X direction, while the gantry remains stationary. The movement in the Y direction is achieved through the sliding seat on the crossbeam. This design is simple in structure and easy to ensure accuracy, making it suitable for high-precision measurement of medium and small-sized workpieces (such as those within 500mm×400mm). However, due to the movement of the worktable, it is not suitable for heavy workpieces.

2. Mobile gantry with fixed worktable type
This is the mainstream structure of the current gantry-type fully automatic image measuring instrument. The workpiece is placed on a fixed marble worktable and remains stationary. The entire gantry moves along the X direction, while the slide on the crossbeam moves along the Y direction. This design completely resolves the problem of difficulty in moving heavy workpieces, and the mass of the moving parts is relatively light, enabling higher acceleration and running speed. It is suitable for medium and large-sized workpieces with dimensions of 800mm×600mm or larger, such as automotive sheet metal parts and liquid crystal panels.

3. Bridge-type mobile type
It adopts a crossbeam supported by two columns as the Y-direction guide rail, and the entire bridge frame moves along the X-direction, similar to the structure of a three-coordinate measuring machine. This form has the best rigidity, but the moving mass is relatively large. It is usually used for extremely large workpieces with high precision requirements (such as aerospace structural components), and the stroke can reach several meters.

In actual selection, the type of gantry structure should be chosen based on the maximum external dimensions of the workpiece, its weight and the requirements for measurement efficiency. For instance, for large stamping parts weighing over 50kg, the fixed worktable and moving gantry structure must be given priority.
